Welcome to the Biochemistry Shared Instrument Core at the University of Colorado Boulder !
The instrument core gives researchers of the CU community and from outside the university access to a multitude of state of the art instruments and techniques including EPR, CD and fluorescence spectroscopy, DLS, Sec-MALS and ITC. In addition it houses a variety of additional equipment, such as imaging systems, centrifuges, scintillation counter, sonicator and more.
The director of the core Dr. Annette Erbse has extensive knowledge of the instrumentation available and wide-ranging experience in biophysical and biochemical characterization of structure and function of biological macromolecules. Dr. Erbse is available for training but also provides support from project planning to experiment optimization to data evaluation and interpretation.
We accept projects from outside the university on a fee-for-service base. For more information and pricing please contact Dr. Annette Erbse (contact information below)
