Welcome to the Shared Instruments in the Devision of Biochemistry, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry !
Investigators from the Biochemistry Division in the Department for Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Colorado at Boulder have joined forces and placed some of their State-of- the-Art instrumentation in a Shared Instruments Pool to facilitate the sharing of instrumentation and analytical capabilities.
The instruments pool gives researchers in the department access to a multitude of state-of-the-art instruments and techniques including EPR, CD and fluorescence spectroscopy, DLS, Sec-MALS, ITC, stopped-flow spectroscopy, chemical quench-flow and more. In addition it houses a variety of additional equipment, such as imaging systems, centrifuges, scintillation counter, sonicator and more. We are happy to extent our help to researchers from the broader CU community and from outside the university if possible.
The director of the Pool Dr. Annette Erbse has extensive knowledge of the instrumentation available and wide-ranging experience in biophysical and biochemical characterization of structure and function of biological macromolecules. Dr. Erbse is available for training but also provides support from project planning to experiment optimization to data evaluation and interpretation.
We accept projects from outside the university on a fee-for-service base. For more information and pricing please contact Dr. Annette Erbse (contact information below)
